It started life in 2004, when managing director Dylan Franklin decided to use his career background in systems development to set up a business creating websites and desktop applications.
As the company’s customer base expanded, Dylan discovered that many clients were looking for a way to keep their existing IT systems rather than invest in expensive new hardware and software.
As a result, he has built up extensive knowledge and skills in maintaining legacy technologies so customers could improve or adapt their existing systems and keep them running.
At the same time, the company has moved with the times. It develops software using the latest technologies, providing solutions for platforms such as mobile phones, tablets and the cloud.
Cerberus currently employs three full-time developers, but also uses specialist contractors with professional expertise in specific technologies.

As managing director, Dylan will be your primary point of contact when discussing your project requirements. He started out in the IT industry in 1998, working as a systems developer on asset management systems, which provided detailed reporting of financial data.
Before setting up Cerberus, Dylan worked for a number of companies in the networking, electronics and telecommunications sectors, including Vodafone and California-based Kinetic Technologies.
Adam has more than 23 years' experience in the parking and security industry, working for companies across the Staffordshire area. He joined Cerberus Software in 2017.
Adam also project-manages all aspects of ANPR systems installation.
Lauren has been active in the finance industry for more than 15 years and joined the company in 2019.
